The QD lever quick-release kit is used to convert traditional mounting screws on VAS series bases into a quick-detach system. Compatible with models SCRA-75, SCRA-76, and SCRA-77. The lever is made of 6061-T6 aluminum with a coating that protects against corrosion and glare. Load-bearing components, including the locking screw, spring, and adjustment nut, are made of steel to prevent thread wear and ensure a stable connection even under heavy recoil.
The mechanism features an adjustment nut that allows the lever’s clamping force to be adjusted to the Picatinny rail width, compensating for minor dimensional differences between various rail manufacturers.
