The Mark4 version of Earmor M31 hearing protectors are active earmuffs that suppress noise over 82 dB. They effectively protect hearing while amplifying ambient sounds via two directional microphones. Compared to the previous generation, the new Earmor model features a shorter response time and five volume levels.

They provide situational awareness through spatial sound, which is crucial in tactical situations or at the shooting range for orientation. The Mark4 has a pressure response time of less than 1 ms. This rapid response allows for safe, long-term use in noisy environments.

The earmuffs come factory-fitted with silicone gel-filled ear pads. Additionally, replaceable PVC-coated foam inserts are included. This allows users to customize their hearing protection according to personal preference and increase comfort.

The modular design allows the earmuffs to be attached directly to a tactical helmet using special adapters. The adapters are designed for ARC, EXFIL, and M-LOK systems. The earmuffs are powered by two AAA batteries (one in each cup) and can operate for up to 60 hours in active mode.

The polymer housing meets the IPX5 waterproof standard, making them safe to use even in the rain. The earmuffs are packaged in a protective padded case with a handle. A carrying pouch is also included, which saves space in your range bag while protecting the earmuffs from scratches.
