Tauron LPVO scope with variable magnification from 1 to 6x from Vector Optics. It features a 24mm multi-coated objective lens. It uses a VTA-9 MIL glass-etched target reticle with an illuminated aiming point with 6 levels of brightness. The illuminated aiming point is powered by a single CR2032 battery. The scope is made of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum alloy.
Thanks to its rugged and sealed construction, it is resistant to shocks up to 1,000 G and is IP67 certified. Meeting the requirements of this certification means that the spotting scope can stay in water one meter deep for up to half an hour. Even when the lenses are regularly covered with caps, it’s a good idea to keep them clean for a clear image using dedicated optics cleaning tools.
The device is designed for dynamic shooting at short and medium distances. At a distance of 100 m, the scope provides a field of view of 38 m at minimum zoom and 6.4 m at maximum. In addition, the sight can be adjusted horizontally and vertically at 60 MIL. The focus knobs are easily accessible and make a distinctive click when manipulated. The aiming crosshair settings can be adjusted by 1/10 MRAD per click.
The user can adjust the scope’s diopter from -3 to +2. The eyepiece’s exit pupil has been offset to a distance of 100 mm The scope’s glass will not evaporate even in harsh weather conditions thanks to the nitrogen filling of the housing. The scope comes with protective caps for the lenses and a microfiber handkerchief with a special cover for it.
A scope with such parameters will be appreciated first of all by hunters, thanks to its high resistance, correction for diopters and the ability to smoothly switch between different orders of magnification size. If necessary, it is easy to replace the battery in it, by unscrewing the nut on the scope’s housing.
