Vector Optics – Extreme High AR Scope Mount 30 mm – Picatinny – Black
A one-piece scope mount with a 30mm tube, primarily for the AR platform from Vector Optics. Its elongated design allows to increase the distance of the eye from the scope’s eyepiece. The execution of the mount’s body from milled 6061-T6 aluminum has preserved high rigidity, which is crucial when withstanding the loads generated when the weapon is fired.
The versatility, or more specifically the flexibility of application, allows the mount to be used with platforms of various applications. This is made possible by its low empty weight of just over 150 grams. In addition, the high profile of the mount does not require the user to remove mechanical sighting devices. The XASR-3038 mount raises the aiming line to a height of 50 mm (1.97″).
Attaching the part to the Picatinny rail is done via two lugs, about 5 cm apart. All parts of the mount are bolted together with Torx T15 screws, which are torqued between 2 and 2.4 Nm. Each mounting ring is secured by four screws, and each abutment by two.
