The Vector Optics Continental scope, with a base magnification factor of x6, offers variable magnification from 6–36x. This design is suitable for both shooters and hunters due to the ability to adjust magnification according to the situation. The 56 mm diameter lens has a high visible light transmission of 90%.
The manufacturer has equipped the scope with a VET-MBR 2 reticle featuring a red illuminated aiming point in the first focal plane (FFP). It has lines corresponding to the given MIL value regardless of magnification. This is possible due to the reticle’s position in the first focal plane, meaning it scales according to the magnification range.
The user can access the turret adjustment controls by lifting the drum nut. The Zero Stop function is based on unscrewing the turret drum, setting it to a new zero position, and then tightening the screw back. This allows for a quick return to the new setting. A dot at the top of the upper turret indicates zero, making it easy to identify when returning to the starting point.
The Schott HT FMC-coated lens with increased eye relief allows for comfortable observation of the target and surroundings. The sealed 6061 T-6 aluminum housing meets the IP67 waterproof standard. The scope is nitrogen-filled, making its lenses resistant to internal fogging. Additionally, the device withstands shocks up to 1,000 G.
The scope can be adjusted vertically within a range of 31 MIL and horizontally by 18 MIL, with a click value of 1/10 MIL. Additionally, the eyepiece diopter can be adjusted from -3 to +2. The set also includes a Picatinny rail mount, and the reticle illumination is powered by a CR2032 battery.
