A cartridge-style drop-in trigger for AR15/AR10 platform carbines in the PCC variant from CMC Triggers. It allows modifying the trigger tongue assembly according to the user’s needs. The trigger tongue has a pre-set trigger pull force at a preset value, which is not subject to modification. After replacing the component, it is worth taking care to properly clean the remaining parts and use lubricants for weapon maintenance.
The entire module is made of machined steel and aluminum alloy. The working elements are additionally hardened to increase their strength. The working surfaces, thanks to high precision machining, have irregularities of 1-2 µin, or 25-50 nanometers, which is similar to a sheet of mirror. This model uses a single-stage trigger type with a flat tongue and a pull of 3.5 lb, which translates to about 1.6 kilograms.
The single-stage trigger is characterized by a linear path with equal pull until the hammer is released. Such a solution will work better in scenarios where the user’s reaction time will count, such as 3Gun competitions. Where the flat trigger tongue allows the finger to be naturally clasped at the base, allowing for a repetitive motion.
Warning:
- The manufacturer emphasizes the drop-in type construction of the trigger, but at the same time it is fully modular, that is, it can be disassembled and assembled with minimal effort, which allows you to seamlessly adjust the module in a situation where the assembly pull a specific sequence of seating of components, without alterations or mechanical modifications.
