The FSG2 inclined front grip is an improved version of the FSG1 model, relative to which the focus has been on user ergonomics. The FSG2 has a rubberized grip surface, which improves handling and reduces the risk of slipping. The grip consists of two parts – a 45° inclined one and a horizontal one, both of which serve to instinctively position the hand.
By using the previous grip, the user reduces tension on the muscle, which will translate into better control of the weapon and guided fire. The grip has a wide track through which cables can be routed, for example from a laser target indicator. The FSG2 is compatible with Picatinny rails, the mounting is adjusted with a Torx screw.
The FSG2’s contoured design allows it to rest against the magazine well of M4 or AR15 carbines in such a way that they form a compact structure. This allows the hand to cover both the grip and the magazine, without blocking access in case of reloading.
