Reduction that allows the connection of a ramrod and tip in a different dimension than the one provided in the standard. Made from a single piece of brass. It is a female type of thread, otherwise known as an internal thread, meaning it will connect two male threads together, as long as one is 1/8″ (~3mm) and the other is M5 (~5mm or 3/16″). This means that it will come in handy when you have an elaborate barrel wire cleaning kit in one caliber, but would like to enhance it with brushes for a larger caliber.
