The low-profile design allows mounting under most free-float handguards without interfering with their structure or requiring elevated mounting solutions.

The body is made of 4140 steel, providing resistance to thermal and mechanical loads generated during gas system operation. The surface is protected with manganese phosphate, reducing susceptibility to corrosion and operational wear in high temperature and humidity conditions. The block design ensures compatibility with standard AR15 gas tubes.

Installation is performed via locking screws that stabilize the block on the barrel, reducing the risk of displacement during fire. The kit includes all necessary components for installation, including a gas tube roll pin and an allen wrench. This gas block is ideal for configurations requiring a low-profile gas system and compatibility with modern handguards without fixed sights.

Features:

Low-profile gas block designed for AR15 system carbines

Designed to fit under most free-float handguards

Resistant to loads resulting from gas system operation

Increased corrosion resistance

Adapted for use with direct impingement gas systems

Locking screw mounting for stable seating on the barrel

Compatible with standard AR15 platform gas tubes

splitter

Technical specifications

Internal diameter

0.75″

Dimensions

33 x 29 x 23 mm

Material

Steel

Weight

43 g

Color

Black

UTG – LOW PROFILE GAS BLOCK FOR AR15 – STEEL – BLACK – MNT-ARMGB01

The UTG MNT-ARMGB01 gas block is designed for use on AR15-based direct-impingement carbines.
